Hey Michelle!
1. Rank each of the Jurors from 1-9 based on their personalities; then rank them based on their gameplay.Randy asked a similar question earlier, so I won’t repeat all of the explanations. If you’re interested, my response was here:
gabonx.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=juryq&action=display&thread=267&page=1#6369 Based on their game play:
1. Marcus
2. Paloma
3. Ace
4. Corinne
5. Randy
6. GC
7. Jacque and Michelle
It’s nothing personal, Michelle, but I was only on your tribe for two rounds in this entire game. Once in the round when Sugar was voted out, and once at the merge. I don’t know how much say you had in the decision to vote out Sugar, and at the time you didn’t answer the question Jeff asked, so I really don’t know what your game play was. Sugar being voted out was a very smart move on your part, and that single event probably changed the way this game played out more than anyone could imagine. But since we never talked, it’s hard to say who (Charlie, Jacque, Susie or yourself) coined that idea.
Based on their personality:
1. Paloma
2. Marcus
3. Randy
4. Corinne
5. Jacque
6. Ace
7. GC
8. Michelle
Paloma just had so much excitement and enthusiasm for this game, it was hard not to love her. She had a great personality; she was full of passion and determination; and beyond all that she was just a good friend to a lot of people. Marcus is easily one of the nicest people in the game, and he always just seemed real to me. He wasn’t pretending to be someone he wasn’t (except, well, the real Marcus I guess), and he just came off as a down-to-earth, friendly guy – not to mention his unmatched honesty and loyalty in this game. Randy has a lot of character, and overall he’s a very likeable guy. I would say he’s one of the smartest players I’ve had the chance to play against, and I think he just knows what he’s doing in these games. When I first met Corinne, she seemed like a very caring person, and I really enjoyed talking to her. Her attitude was incredible, and her determination never ceased to amaze me throughout the game. That girl does
not give up! Jacque seemed a little bit inactive at times, but I had the chance to talk to her a few times and she seemed very nice. I really enjoyed talking to her when I could. I can’t remember having any chats with Ace, but I do have a lot of respect for him for how he carried himself in the game. He started the game as a leader, and I think a lot of people (myself included) really looked up to him as a strong player. GC was a very quiet player, and I didn’t get a chance to talk to him very often either. From what I know of him, he seemed like a nice guy, but I definitely wish I had gotten to know him better during the game. Michelle, I put you last on the list simply because we were only on the same tribe for two rounds and unfortunately I never got to talk to you during the game. And, when we were on the same tribe, you voted out one of my closest allies.
2. Compare each Juror to a Survivor from the real Gabon season and give a brief reason as to why.Edited: Sorry, I misread your question and didn't see the part where the survivors had to be from Gabon.
Paloma – Sugar because she was a very sweet person and she was very likeable, but when it came to the game, she was willing to get a little bit ruthless if it meant she would stay in the game longer. From other seasons, I'd compare her to Elisabeth Filarski from Survivor: Australian Outback.
Marcus – Marcus because he was a very down-to-earth guy with a lot of integrity, and he seemed to do very well in the challenges throughout the game. He was loyal to his main alliance from start to finish. From other seasons, I'd compare him to Colby Donaldson from Survivor: Australian Outback.
Ace – Randy because he was a very smart player, and he controlled himself well so he wasn't too outspoken. As the show goes on, I think Randy will step up as a key player to watch, and he'll probably be behind a lot of the strategy in the game, but few people will see it coming because he stayed low and didn’t let the control get to his ego. From other seasons, I'd compare him to Yul Kwon from Survivor: Cook Islands.
GC – Bob because he started the game as a leader, but gradually fell under the radar. He probably could have gone a long way, but what will probably hurt him the most is that he doesn't have any close alliances. From other seasons, I'd compare him to Ibreheam Rahman from Survivor: Palau.
Corinne – Jacque because she had a fighting spirit, and refused to give up even when she knew her head was on the chopping block. She tried a lot of different angles to try to keep herself in the game, but ultimately she was voted out because she was seen as a threat. She had a great attitude, but got frustrating when she realized there was little she could do. From other seasons, I'd compare her to Stephenie LaGrossa from Survivor: Palau.
Jacque – Kelly because she seemed to play under the radar for most of the game, and I think she surprised a lot of people by how long she managed to survive. From other seasons, I would compare her to Amber Brkich from Survivor: All Stars.
Randy – Ken because he had a lot of heart, and he was a great thinker. He had an excellent strategy, and the only reason why he was voted as early as he was is because of alliances... I know Ken's still in the game, but I think the same thing might happen to him. From other seasons, I'd compare him to Jonathan Penner from Survivor: Micronesia.
Michelle – Michelle because she made a few enemies at the beginning of the game, and that came back to haunt her . She also had a fighting spirit, but a lot of people mistook that as her just being a bitch. From other seasons, I'd compare you to Shii Ann Huang from Survivor: Thailand.
3. Describe me your gameplay/strategy in a maximum of 89 words. My strategy was to do whatever it takes to get me to the end. I was more than willing to lie to people if it meant getting me ahead in the game, but wanted to avoid lying to people when it wasn’t necessary. I made sure I was always aware of what was going on in the game, and used that to put myself in the best possible position. I made smart choices, formed alliances with the right people, and won challenges when I needed them most…
Thanks Michelle!
